Detailed Solution

The provision of the forests act of 1878 was to protect forests and gave prohibition to people entirely. The  Forest Act was passed in 1878. It was successfully amended in 1927. The Indian Forest Act of 1927 became the most consolidated of all the Forest Acts. The Indian Forest Act of 1927 was based on the previous Indian Forest Acts enacted under the British. According to this Amendation, the forest was divided into three categories. Reserved Forests were the most restricted forests. Protected Forest is less restricted than reserved forests. Villages' forests have full access to the local people.
