Detailed Solution

The suffragette was a women’s movement.
Suffragette is a movement to give women the right to vote. In the early 18th century, one of the groups that brought changes in society was the liberals. But they were against the idea of women voting. The liberals thought they were not legitimate citizens to be given the right to vote as they were inferior. But it must be noted that many events were only carried out by the women, which helped bring down France's monarchy. Most women of the third estate had to work for a living. The women hoped that with their involvement in the movement, the revolutionary government would introduce some measures to improve their lives.
