Detailed Solution

The Suffragette Movement was a movement of women to get the right to vote. The movement was advocated and supported by women. It is categorised as a movement of ‘women advocating voting rights for women through organised protest’. The movement opposed the privileges held by the rich landowners and wealthy factory owners. This made them different from the liberals who advocated the perseverance of the traditional systems and institutions. The supporters of the suffragette movement also opposed the concentration of land property in the hands of a few wealthy elements. However, they did not completely oppose the idea of the existence of private property.
