Detailed Solution

Concept-  We also know that a green shirt will reflect light with a wavelength close to 510 nm. And its wavelength is roughly between 500 and 520 nm. Green can be seen when that colour is most reflective, while violet, indigo, blue, yellow, orange, and red light are all mostly absorbed. The wavelength of a wave is the separation between two adjacent troughs in the wave. The relationship between the wavelength and frequency is inverse. Red light has a shorter wavelength than infrared radiation, but violet light has a wavelength that is longer than UV radiation.
Due to the pigment chlorophyll, all green areas are green. And a certain wavelength of visible light within a spectrum will be absorbed by this pigment. All colours other than green will be absorbed by a green shirt. Additionally, the green shirt will reflect green light with a wavelength of 500–520 nm. The green shirt will therefore appear to be green. However, a black surface will absorb all light that is visible and scatter the remaining light. However, a green object scatters more green light than other colours, whereas it absorbs more of those other hues.
Hence, the correct answer is option 1).
