Detailed Solution

Swargadeos were the kings of the Ahoms. The term Swargadeo was conferred to the Ahom Kings, who had to be descended from the first king Sukaphaa. Primogeniture was typically the rule for succession, although on rare occasions, the great Gohains may choose a different Sukaphaa descendant from a different line or even remove an incumbent monarch. The first Ahom monarch to add a Hindu name to his Ahom name was Suhungmung. His new Hindu name was "Swarga Narayan." In Assamese, he and his successors were referred to as Swargadeo or the Lord of Heaven. In contrast to the Sudra Mayamara Satra, its Mahantas, and its followers, they backed the Brahmanical Sattras.
