Detailed Solution

Muslim reformers within the Russian empire called "Jadidists" sought to modernise Islam and make it the dominant religion in the Russian Empire. During the 1905 revolution, they backed Russian liberals who fought the Tsar's tyranny and called for a constitution. All of them hold to the prophet Muhammad's prophecy as well as the existence and unity of God. But as time went on, the Turkic influence became more pronounced. By 1917, the Jadids were writing favourable eulogies for Turkic warriors like Ulugh-beg, Temur, and Chinggis. Around the 1880s, Muslim reformers in Russia began to organise, known as Jadids. They were of Turkish descent and were the movement's leaders from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries.
