Grimm's fairy tale is a familiar name. In 1785 and 1786, respectively, the brothers Jacob and Wilhelm were born in the German city of Hanau. Even though they were both law students, they soon discovered a passion for collecting traditional folktales. They spent six years going from village to village, talking to the people, and recording the fairy stories that had been passed down through the ages. These stories were well-liked by both adults and kids. The brothers initially released their story collections in 1812. After that, both of the brothers were involved in liberal politics, notably the press freedom struggle.
