We have to find the curved surface area of a hemisphere whose volume is

Using the formula,
Volume of a hemisphere

= 23 π r 3

Applying the formula for volume of hemisphere:

∴ 23 × 227 r 3 = 242512

⇒ r 3 = 48512 × 3 × 7 44 ⇒ r 3 = 2123 ⇒ r = 212 cm

Surface area of hemisphere

= 2 π r 2

Applying formula for surface area of the hemisphere:
The curved surface area of hemisphere

= 2 × 227 × 212 × 212
