We have to find the median of 20, 13, 18, 25, 6, 15, 21, 9, 18, 8, 22.
We know that when n is odd,
Median= n+1 2 th term
Rearranging the given terms in ascending order,
6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 18, 18, 20, 21, 22, 25.
There are 11 terms.
Using the formula, median is given by,
n+1 2 th term= 11+1 2 th = 6 th term =18 Hence, the median is 18.
