It is given that PQ is the diameter of the circle having centre O and, PQR=65 0 , SPR=40 0 ,PQM= 65 0  .
Question ImageAccording to the theorem, in a circle, the inscribed angle is half of the central angle.
We know that sum of all three angles of a triangle is 180°.
Also, if any four points on the circumference of a circle are joined, they form the vertices of a cyclic quadrilateral.
According to the property, the sum of the opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral is supplementary and the sum of all the angles equals 360°.
Calculating PRQ&PMQ  :
In a circle with centre O, POQ is a straight line.
Therefore, central angle POQ= 180 0   PRQ&PMQ   are the inscribed angles.
Using the above theorem, we get,
PRQ= 1 2 × 180 0 = 90 0   ……(1)
Likewise,
PMQ= 90 0  
Now QPR&OPR   in ∆PQR,
PRQ= 90 0  (from step 1)
PQR=65 0  (given)
 Using the property,
QPR+ 90 0 + 65 0 = 180 0 QPR= 180 0 155 0 QPR= 25 0   QPR   is the same as OPR  .
Therefore, OPR= 25 0  
Calculating QPM&OPM   in ∆QPM ,
PMQ= 90 0  (from 1)
PQM= 50 0  (given)
Again using the property,
QPM+ 90 0 + 50 0 = 180 0 QPM= 180 0 140 0 QPM= 40 0  
QPM   is the same as OPM  .
Therefore, OPM= 40 0  .
Since, all the four points P, Q, R and S lie on the circumference of a circle,
Therefore, PQRS is a cyclic quadrilateral.
PQR+PSR= 180 0 PQR= 65 0  
 So,
  PSR+ 65 0 = 180 0 PSR= 180 0 65 0 PSR= 115 0  
Applying the property,
PRS+PSR+RPS= 180 0 PRS= 180 0 155 0 PRS= 25 0  
So, OPR= 25 0 ,OPM= 40 0 &PRS= 25 0  .
Therefore, option 1 is correct.
