Detailed Solution

When a body is moving in curved path we get following are true

i) The direction of instantaneous velocity and direction of average velocity will be different we know instantaneous velocity has direction along the tangent drawn at that point where as the average velocity will have direction along total displacement.

ii) The direction of average velocity will be along direction of displacement but the direction of change of velocity will be along the vector difference between final and initial velocities. So average velocity and change of velocity do not have same direction

iii) The direction of instantaneous velocity will be along the tangent drawn at that point at that instant. Whereas change of velocity will have direction along the vector difference of final

and initial velocities so instantaneous velocity and change of velocity have different directions
