When a steel spoon is rubbed against polythene or wool cloth, does it produce any charge?

A steel spoon will not be charged when rubbed against wool or polythene because steel is a good conductor of electricity.

Rubbing means transferring the electron from one material to another material. 

So the surface of the steel is charged with rubbing but little amount of electric energy transfers through our hands as well as our body to the earth. So in short, we can say that steel spoons will not be charged by rubbing with polythene or woollen clothes.
