When an inorganic compound $\left(\mathrm{X}\right)$  having $3c-2e$ as well as $2c-2e$ bonds reacts with ammonia gas at a certain temperature, gives a compound (Y) iso-structural with benzene. Compound (X) with ammonia at a high temperature, produces a slippery substance (Z). Then :

X is a B₂H₆ molecule with 3c-2e and 2c-2e bonds. Inorganic benzene or borazine are produced when B₂H₆ and ${\mathrm{NH}}_3$ react. Z is (BN)_x is referred as as inorganic graphite and shares graphite's structural similarities. Figure illustrates the entire chain of events.
