When cell has stalled DNA replication fork which checkpoint should be predominantly activated

The transitions between different phases of the cycle are regulated at checkpoints. G₁ represents the time gap between the last cell division and the start of DNA replication. It is also known as first growth phase post mitotic phase and pre synthetic phase. During the S stage of interphase, the DNA of the cell is replicated in the nucleus in preparation for cell division and its amount doubles.
