The Battle of Plassey was held in 1757.
The East India Company, led by Robert Clive, fought this battle against the Nawab of Bengal (Siraj-Ud-Daulah) and his French Squadron. When the battle of Plassey took place, Alamgir was the Mughal emperor. It was fought between the East India Company forces led by Robert Clive and Siraj-Ud- doula.
