The Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place on 13th April 1919.
1)      A nonviolent mass in the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, to protest in opposition to the arrest of leader Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr. Satya Pal. However, General Dyer, the navy commander of Amritsar, instructed a ban on all public gatherings a day before.
2)      In reaction to the general public gathering, the cruel officer R. E. H. Dyer surrounded the protesters together with his army.
3)      He ordered his troops armed with rifles to fire on the unarmed crowd gathered in the garden.
