Detailed Solution

The Jallianwalla Bagh massacre took place in 1919. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre came about on April 13, 1919; a largely peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, to protest against the arrest of pro-Indian independence leaders Dr Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr Satya Pal. Then, troops of the British Indian Army, under the command of General Taylor, discharged rifles into a crowd of Baisakhi pilgrims. The United Nations agency had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, Punjab. The government of an Asian nation ordered an associate's degree investigation into the incident (the Hunter Commission), which in 1920 criticized a trained worker for his actions and called him to resign from the military. Reaction in Great Britain to the massacre was mixed, however.
