Kheda Satyagraha was organised in 1917.
Mahatma Gandhi organised satyagraha activities effectively after coming to India in several locations. Gandhi thought that nonviolent dharma could bring all Indians together.For example, too assist the peasants of Gujarat's Kheda district, he organised a satyagraha in 1917. The peasants of Kheda demanded that revenue collection be relaxed because they could not pay the revenue due to crop failure and a plague epidemic.
