Detailed Solution

In 1921, the Non-Cooperation-Khilafat Movement started.
The Non-Cooperation programme was approved at the Congress session held in Nagpur in December 1920. This movement included members from various social groups, each of which had its own distinct goals. They all heeded the call of Swaraj, although various people had varied interpretations of the phrase. Participation of the middle class in urban areas sparked the movement. Following the Chauri Chaura incident, Mahatma Gandhi decided to end the Non-Cooperation Movement in February 1922.
