When the angle between force and displacement is obtuse, work done by the force is negative.
If the angle is obtuse, the work done is the horizontal component on the opposite side of the
positive x-axis. This indicates that,  Fx=F sin (angle), where (angle) is the angle formed
between the perpendicular y-axis and the Force in the second quadrant. The distance is the
horizontal distance between the force's point and the perpendicular y-axis. This distance is on
the x-negative axis's side. As a result, the product Fxd provides the work done. The size of
the work done cannot be calculated, but it is certain that the work done will be negative.
That's because when we resolve the force vector along and perpendicular to the displacement
vector's direction, we notice that the component of force along displacement is pointing in the
opposite direction as the displacement vector. As a result, the work done is negative.
