When the rays of light travelling in various directions meet at a point, the collection of rays so formed is called a convergent beam.
The convergent beam of light is produced by reflection or refraction from a convergent mirror or lens for a parallel beam of incidence which meets at focus. Light is an invisible energy which causes the sensation of vision in the eye. Light helps us see objects clearly, and reflection of light is the process through which we can see distant objects. When light rays coming from various directions meet at a point, then the beam of rays is called a convergent beam of light.
