 When the sum of the measures of two angles is that of a straight angle and if one of them is acute then the other should be obtuse.
Since, the angle of a straight line is 180 degree, and one of them is acute angle, i.e., less than 90 degree.
And hence other must be greater than 90 degree.
An angle which is greater than 90 degree is called an obtuse angle.
Hence, if the sum of two angles is equal to straight angle, then one of them must be an obtuse angle.
Hence, the required answer is obtuse.
