Detailed Solution

When the temperature increases, the resistance and resistivity of the conductor increase.
The electrical resistivity of a material is a fundamental property that measures how strongly it resists electric current. For example, an electrical conductor's electrical resistance is the resistance to passing an electric current through that conductor. If a conductor's temperature rises, the substance's ions vibrate more vigorously. This vibration increases the collisions between the free electrons and the ions in the substance. Hence, for a substance, resistance increases with an increase in temperature.
