When was Golconda Fort built with mud?

The now mighty granite Golconda Fort with huge thick walls, massive gates with large iron spokes and enormous bastions was once a mud fort. It was built around 1200 with mud and acted as the royal residence of various dynasties of rulers. The royal dynasty to first lay its foundation was the Kakatiya dynasty. Its stone foundations were laid in the 1500s.
