Detailed Solution

On 26 January 1930 was the Independence Day pledge taken.
In the 1929 Lahore session, Congress passed the Poorna Swaraj resolution. During the same session, Jawaharlal Nehru was elected President of the Congress. On January 26, 1930, a month after Congress passed the Poorna Swaraj Resolution, the Pledge of Indian Independence, also known as the Declaration of Independence, was taken. In 1930, Mahatma Gandhi wrote the Poorna Swaraj Resolution, which essentially rehashed the fundamental themes of the American Declaration of Independence. Jawaharlal Nehru wrote the Poorna Swaraj Resolution. On January 26, 1930, the Indian National Congress declared Independence Day in response to this commitment. Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru raised the Indian tricolour flag at the Ravi River's financial centre.
