Detailed Solution

The Khalsa institution was founded in 1699 CE by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru. After him, Banda Bahadur led the entire Khalsa in a revolt against the Mughal Empire. In the past, Sikh Gurus' names created coins. Unfortunately, he was taken prisoner by Mughal soldiers in 1715 CE and killed in 1716 CE. The Sikhs organised themselves into various jathas, subsequently known as misls, during the 18th century. The combined army of all the jathas is known as the Dal Khalsa.
