King Louis XVI requested assistance from the Prussian and Austrian kingdoms because his authority had been curtailed. However, the French revolutionaries assembled a sizable army and proclaimed war on Austria and Prussia.
The country's revolutionary forces created the Jacobin Club in France. Small business owners, watchmakers, pastry chefs, printers, daily wage workers, and maids were all present.
When bread became scarcer in 1792, the Jacobins and other citizens attacked the Tuileries Palace and imprisoned the French royal family.
The modifications to the Constitution were a result of this evolution. Everyone who was older than 21 years old was eligible to vote in the elections that were held. France's monarchy was overthrown, and it became a republic.
