The Non-Cooperation movement was called off by Gandhi in 1922.
The Non-Cooperation movement led by Gandhi demanded non-violent, peaceful protest against the  British Raj. Gandhi propounded the practice of Satyagraha. But the spread of Non-Cooperation across nations and the assimilation of different entities led to change in its course. It has been seen that the Non-Cooperation movement was turning violent in many places. Hearing this, Gandhi called for a halt to the Non-Cooperation movement. Gandhi felt that Satyagraha needed to be trained before launching a mass struggle.
