Detailed Solution

In 1920 the Non-Cooperation Movement was launched by Gandhi.
Gandhi founded the Non-Cooperation Movement on September 5th, 1920, quickly spreading throughout the country. Mahatma Gandhi launched the organisation. It was a large-scale movement in which both the general population and nationalists were involved. British oppressive policies, such as the Rowlatt Act and the Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh disaster, aided the growth of this movement. Several demonstrators and bystanders were killed in these incidents. As a result, the Non-Cooperation Movement was formed. The anti-British government protest was nonviolent and peaceful. The Non-cooperation Movement was founded to gain self-government and complete independence. All Indians were meant to be persuaded to abandon any endeavour that aided the British rule and economy in India.
