Detailed Solution

When white light passes through a hollow prism, it exhibits no dispersion and no deviation.
When white light strikes a hollow prism's first wall, it enters a denser medium with a higher refractive index. As a result, the light will undergo refraction and bend in the direction of normality. The dispersed rays of white light fall on the glass surface parallel to the surface that white light is first incident on after dispersing inside the glass and being separated into its component colours. In this instance, there is only dispersion and no deviation. The media inside the hollow prism is identical to that which is present outside. After leaving the prism surface, the light rays travel through a lighter medium and veer off course.Once more, light rays bend in the direction of normal when they enter a denser medium, like the slab surface on the opposite side. When the light beams come out of the second slab's denser medium, they arc in a different direction than usual.
As a result, neither an effective dispersion nor an obvious deviation exist.
