When zinc reacts with sulphuric acid, zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas are formed.
When a metal reacts with an acid, hydrogen gas is released and a salt is formed. Zinc (Zn) reacts with H2SO4 (sulphuric acid) to give ZnSO4 (zinc sulphate) and hydrogen gas. The reaction is as follows:
                            Zn(s)+H2SO4(l)ZnSO4(aq)+H2
Zinc + Sulphuric acid  Zincs ulphate + Hydrogen gas.
