Detailed Solution

Bhimbetka caves were located in Madhya Pradesh.
The Paleolithic and Mesolithic eras and the historical era are all represented in the archaeological site known as the Bhimbetka rock shelters in central India. It displays the oldest signs of human life in India and proves that the Stone Age began there in the Acheulian periods. It is situated 45 kilometres (28 mi) southeast of Bhopal in the Raisen District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The Satpura hills are successive mountains to the south of these rock shelters. It is located in the Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary, at the foothills of the Vindhya Range, encased in sandstone cliffs. Over 750 rock shelters spread over seven hills make up this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
