Detailed Solution

The Gudem Hills are located in Andhra Pradesh.
In 1920, a rebellion was caused here following the aftermath of the Non-Cooperation Movement. In the early 1920s, a militant guerrilla organisation gained ground in the Gudem Hills of Andhra Pradesh, led by Alluri Sitaram Raju, against forest restrictions. Because he could accurately predict astrological outcomes and heal people, the rebels believed he was a manifestation of God. After being motivated by the Non-Cooperation Movement, he pushed people to wear Khadi and refrain from drinking. However, he also contended that force was the only way to free India. Gudem rebels achieved swaraj by guerilla warfare, attacking police stations, attempting to kill British officials, and targeting other targets. Raju was arrested and murdered in 1924.
