Where are the cornea and retina located on the body?

Concept: The cornea is the translucent frontmost layer of the eye.
The cornea allows light to enter the human eye.

It is further subdivided into five layers: the epithelium, the Bowman's layer, the stroma, the Descemet's membrane, and the endothelium.

Retina: The layer of tissue in the rear of the eye near the optic nerve.
