Where are the cornea and retina located on the body?

The human eye is one of the most valuable and sensitive sense organs which enables us to see the wonderful world and the colours around us. Parts of the human eye include Sclera, Iris, Cornea, Pupil, Lens, Retina, and Optic nerves.

Cornea:

The cornea is the translucent frontmost coating of the eye. The cornea allows light to enter the human eye.

Retina:

It is the layer of tissue in the back of the eye, close to the optic nerve. It serves as a screen for the human eye, forming a picture of the items we perceive. It is made up of photoreceptor cells, cones (which sense colours), and rods (low light vision).
