Detailed Solution

The tribes of Kalang are natives of Java.
The Kalang tribes were a group of expert woodcutters and roving farmers. They belonged to Java, which is now a famous rice-producing island in Indonesia. Since they were so skilled and vital, the 6,000 Kalang families were divided equally between the two kingdoms when the Mataram kingdom of Java split in 1755. Without their knowledge, it would have been challenging for the monarchs to construct their palaces and gather teak. In the eighteenth century, as the Dutch started to take over the woodlands, they attempted to subjugate the Kalangs. The Kalangs tried to rebel in 1770 by attacking a Dutch fort at Joana, but the revolt was put down.
