Detailed Solution

Gutenberg developed the first printing press in Germany.
There was a significant need for faster and less expensive text reproduction. Only the development of a new print technology would allow for this. When Johann Gutenberg created the first printing press in the 1430s in Strasbourg, Germany, it marked a significant advancement. The system was perfected by Gutenberg in 1448. The Bible was the first book he printed. Over the course of three years, about 180 copies were printed. This was fast manufacturing by the standards of the time.
