Detailed Solution

The Dandi March started from Sabarmati Ashram.
Dandi March made a crucial statement about India's quest for independence. On the 12th of March in 1930, Mahatma Gandhi began the Dandi March to protest the British government's imposition of a salt tax on the general populace. Through this Satyagraha, Mahatma Gandhi travelled to Dandi in the Gujarati state with 78 of his trusted followers and members of the general public to produce salt. The Salt Satyagraha was another name for the Dandi March and was meant to signify the removal of the British-imposed salt tax. The Dandi March also signalled the start of Congress's campaign of civil disobedience to end British control of the nation.
