Detailed Solution

South India is home to the Brahmagiri mountain range. The Brahmagiri mountain range can be found in South India's Western Ghats. It is situated on the northern and southern borders of the districts of Kerala's Wayanad and Karnataka's Kodagu, respectively. Brahmagiri Hill, which is 1608 metres high, is a stunning tourist destination. The peak of Brahmagiri Hill is densely forested and home to a wide range of flora. The first person to explore this area was Benjamin L. Rice, and it was he who discovered the rock carvings of Emperor Ashoka. The area was known as Isila, and it served as the southernmost point of the Mauryan empire, according to the inscriptions on the rocks. It is well known for having a sizable collection of megalithic structures.
