Detailed Solution

The Tawa Matsya Sangh is in Madhya Pradesh.
In a democracy, protests and struggles are very important. It is a way of raising their views and differences. In India, there are many prominent movements for environment, gender equality, democracy, and many other rights and demands. The Tawa Matsya Sangh is in Madhya Pradesh. To build the Tawa dam which was completed its construction in 1978, authorities displaced many forest dwellers and vast agricultural land got submerged. The displaced people didn’t get the deserving compensation. Few of them lived near the reservoir and others took fishing as their means of livelihood. The private contractors didn’t allow the local people for fishing. Therefore, the organisation was formed. They conducted rallies for their rights. In 1996, the Madhya Pradesh government gave the local people fishing rights.
