The Indian National Congress adopted the Karachi Resolution at its Karachi session in 1931. Three significant occurrences cast a shadow over the Session. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel served as the chairman of the Karachi Congress Session, which took place from March 26 to 31, 1931. At a particularly special meeting of the Indian National Congress, Mahatma Gandhi was chosen to represent the organisation at the Second Round Table Conference, which would take place in London.
