The Hindustan Socialists Republican Army Formed in Delhi.
Bhagat Singh, Jatin Das, and Ajoy Ghosh, these three revolutionaries, founded the Hindustan Socialists Republican Army in 1928 at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi. Gandhi’s ideals of non-violence and Satyagraha and movements like the Non-Cooperation movement, Civil Disobedience movement and Salt March were popular among the people. A section of the population there did not believe in this approach. They felt more radical, and sometimes even violent methods were required to get the attention of the British and make them submit to the Indian demands.
