Given, hour hand of the clock starts from 8 and turns through 2 right angles.
For one full rotation of the hour hand it makes 4 right angles. So we can say that for two right angles it makes

\frac{1}{2}

rotation.
As there are 12 numbers on the clock, it rotates

\frac{12}{2} = 6

hours for

\frac{1}{2}

of full rotation.
So it rotates 6 hours in two right angles. Then the hour hand stops at 8 + 6 = 14. This means after the 12 it crossed two hours. So it stops at 2.
So, option 2 is correct.
