Newland’s law of octaves was applicable only up to calcium.
Newland law of octave states that “when elements are arranged in the increasing order of atomic mass, the properties of every eight’s element are similar to the first element”. Newland arranged all the known elements in a tabular form and stated its law of octaves. This law was applicable only up to calcium and he assumed that there were only 56 elements.
