Casual workers have no job security or protection from any ill-treatment in the workplace. The factory or company hires them when there is a need for labour in the factory. When the factory gets new contracts, they hire these casual workers temporarily. As there is no contract signed between the workers and the employers, they cannot question or complain about the low pay or their working conditions, or else they can be asked to leave the job. Many workers are employed on such a basis. Most of them belong to poor families who are bound to work for their livelihood despite poor working conditions and low pay. They only do single work in the factory, like one worker is only hired to put the label on the packages and is replaced by another worker after some hours.
