Detailed Solution

Dara Shukoh had access to the river Yamuna.
Nobles in Delhi preferred building homes on the river Yamuna's banks. A variation of the Chahar bagh garden was the river-front garden, where the house was constructed not in the middle but at the edge of the river bank. Thus they could have easy access to the Yamuna river. Shah Jahan intended to control the nobles' access to the river. Therefore, in the city of Shahjahanabad, he developed the architectural form of the river-front garden. His eldest son Dara Shukoh was one of the favoured nobles who had access to the river. So the rest had to construct homes away from the Yamuna.
