Detailed Solution

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) aim to liberalise international trade. The WTO believes that all barriers to foreign trade and investment are harmful and that there should be no barriers. It emphasises that trade between countries should be free and unhindered and that all countries should liberalise their trade policies. It establishes rules regarding international trade, collectively with about 160 member countries on board with the WTO. Despite all regulations, developed countries disregard these rules in general. For example, in the US, large amounts of crops are grown by farmers who receive monetary aid and export their produce, while developing countries are not allowed to do the same.
