Detailed Solution

“Gives official status to one religion” is wrong about India’s Constitution.
The state of India has no recognised religion. Our Constitution does not grant any religion an individual standing, unlike Islam in Pakistan or Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The freedom to profess, practise, and promote any faith—or none at all—is guaranteed to all people by the Constitution. The Constitution forbids discrimination based on religion but also gives the state the right to interfere in religious matters to maintain equality within religious communities.
Hence, our Constitution does not give official status to any one religion.
