Detailed Solution

Reduction of revenue, abolition of begar and social boycott of oppressive landlords were the main demands of the peasant movement led by Baba Ramchandra in Awadh.
Baba Ramchandra was a sanyasi who worked as an indentured labourer in Fiji in his early life. He led the peasants' movement in Awadh and fought against the landlords. He put on many demands of the peasants in front of the oppressive talukdars and landlords, such as the reduction of revenue and the abolition of begar. Ramachandra also took measures like the social boycott of oppressive landlords. The nai-Dhobi band was one such boycott, where the landlords were even deprived of the services of barbers and washermen. In October 1920, Oudh Kisan Sabha was set up to understand farmers' grievances by Nehru and Baba Ramchandra.
