Detailed Solution

The Yamuna, Ghaghara, and Gnadak are major tributaries of the Ganga river. Ganga is a very important Himalayan River that is joined by many tributaries from the Himalayas, which in turn become the major river of India, such as the Yamuna, the Ghaghara, the Gandak, and the Kosi. It is considered a sacred river. It is the longest river in India, with a length of 2525 km. It rises from the Gangotri glacier. River Yamuna is the main and longest tributary of the Ganga. The right bank tributary rises from the Yamunotri Glacier near the  Bandarpunch peak. It runs parallel to the Ganga and joins the river Ganga at the city of Allahabad.
